I found an old money bill

Before I went to the bank, I took this odd looking wallet that's been around my brother's books shelve to cover the money that will be paid. But as I took the money out, something else came out and that is old two peso bill or four cents. This kind of bill is already out of the circulation and I realized that the wallet is old from the 90s.
I was planning to sell it through online but I found out there other people that also sells old bills as well to collectors.
Have you found an old coin or bill that's already expired?

Hello there @LdeL0318 Wow look at all those coins. I almost forgot what a five and ten peso bill looks like

collectors are willing to pay a huge number of cash for these old bills. Yes it is legal and there is a market for it thanks to collectors.

Hello @ScribbledAdNauseum I agree with @CaptAlbertWhisker collectors paid a huge money to buy them. but I've seen people have their own set of collections, my brother being one of them. sad though a while ago he kinda lost his old bills here. yeah, you can sell it here.

@Letranknight2015 OH okay I wasn't sure about the laws and regulations. It's sad he lost the old bills as they will become valuable over time. There will be people who will want to buy them for years to come.

Yes, I keep some of them. Some old coins were given by my late mother. I do not have plans yet of selling them.

I haven't found one. It's good to keep it. Or, you might want to sell it to shops that buy collector's items.

Hello @Sreekala Ever thought of looking at online selling or buyings and try to sell them? you never know that some one might be interested in purchasing them. Better do it now before some one steals them for profit, old coins can still be sold.

They have to renew it because of the fake money that's been reproducing lately and probably too expensive to produce bills that are too low to begin with. @maezee the value of a two pesos bill isn't really that high anymore which is why they change it to coins.

Forgetfulness is the saddest condition of a person, just look at my Mom's condition she can't recognized me and calls me as her sis or naming other names. Does your Mom undergoes to an operation? My Mom does, she undergoes before 3x and we thought that was the cause of her alzhimer's.

I was once a cash custodian in a bank and it was so easy for me to collect all old peso bills and coins. Now I have plenty in our house. I even have other currency bills and coins.

Hello @AkoPinay they are silver and really big one peso back in the day. Hard to believe I was just a kid carrying lots of huge one peso coins I touch them today I'm overwhelmed by it's weight

sadlyh I had some coins but we our world shattered and dmy son lost his job and we were evicted Ive never seen them again. we had to put a lot of stuff in storage and leave a lot as we did not have money for a larger truck or bigger store agew place. that was a bad time.landed me here and ,,much to o ur chagrin the job he has s he cannot afford a two bedroom a[t so I am stuck hjere ,,my iold money lost

My brother had tons of them. but some how due to non stop general cleaning we lost some of his bill and coin collections. But I kinda assume he already collected them. I think coins can be sell more than the bills @Shavkat
