Are you encouraged to write more due to the $1 payout ?

Yes, it is true. For the next couple of months you only have to reach $1 before you get payment. I hear the ( the powers that be ) are hoping that it will encourage those who do write but do not get anywhere near the current figure of $10 for payment for several months. I am yet to have my first payment and think that when you can only come on here hop and a catch it can take a while to reach the payment goal. I personally would like to see a $5 target to be set. What are your thoughts ?

It's a good idea for some who've never been paid but I'll just be doing my normal thing Would be nice to see more activity here

Ooh I tend to agree about the $5 limit. $10 seems so unattainable at times. I am happy that I will get a payout in March, less than $10. It is certainly motivating for me. Not sure about everyone else.

It does seem like it will heighten some morales and increase activity. Like @JJ said its business as usual for him but the lowered payout helps those like me very much so. Maybe they will knock it down to $5 permanently or do a promotion like this again in the future.

It doesn't really matter to me. I am not here for the money, just the fun. The money is just a nice little perk to having done what I like to do anyway.
