Antivirus. I believe they are highly recommended and widely used; but what if your antivirus IS MALWARE? I believe that sometimes the only thing I can do is constantly delete cookies and have the ability to do a recovery. Either way, I am always looking for ways to be aware during my cyber activities.

Good day Ketan Prajapati. Yes, antivirus can stop doing its job if not updated and be an obstacle for security.

That would be dangerous in case. We just have to be careful I guess.

Top of the day to you weird_oh_me. I agree. Danger is out there and closer than we think, but we have to be careful as you have stated and educated while being aware of changes and vulnerabilities created by our software choices.

Hi Joy. You are correct, but be aware in some cases an antivirus can be malware. This is quite the possibility and should be a point of caution.

Well there are only a few that I trust and my main one is very highly rated. I'm not technically an expert but I have a large knowledge of software and electronics in general.

Always try to read reviews online of the anti-virus you want to buy, before installing it to your computer, make sure you know the pros/cons, you dont want to mess up your computer by downloading a virus.

I always try reading reviews on different forums first before I actually install. I also ask for advice from my friends who are in I.T.

Hello Mara. That is a good idea to research and consult with experts. We all want the best experiences from our software.
