Just Ate The Last Slice Of Banana Bread

It is so sad! I just ate the last slice of my delicious homemade banana bread and I would love to have more.
But I won't be able to have more of that banana bread until I make one and let it stand for a few days. It always tastes so much better after a while.
I usually bake a banana bread and slice it when it cold enough. And then, I freeze the slices and store them in a Betty Crocker container.
Whenever I want a piece I just take one out and wait a little while and there it is ready to enjoy.
I am the only here in this family who likes that stuff.

That's popular in our house but it has to have tons of chocolate chips in it. Personally, I like it with walnuts, but the chocolate chips usually win out!!

I am not particularly a fan of banana bread, though I will eat it. If I were to make my own, I'd use fresh, rather than brown, bananas. I did that once and it was superior-tasting. But to tell the truth, I ate SO many bananas as a kid that I no longer care to eat them (though, again, I do sometimes).

Hey, that was MY piece!
I have 4 bananas here that are getting too soft to eat - perhaps I should make some banana bread too. I might even have some zucchini on hand to go with it!
We could never let it stand for a few days - it would never last that long!

We have eaten all the muffins and now I have to wait a couple of days more before I can bake some, because I cannot still use my left hand. I know that you miss your banana bread, I do not know what I am going to eat tomorrow for breakfast.

I love banana bread, but haven't made one for awhile. I like it with walnuts in it. One of my sisters-in-law did not like nuts, so she used to put cherries in hers. You have made me hungry for one, and I do not have any bananas on hand, so can't make it today.

I do love banana bread. My kids like banana pancake. My husband likes banana cake. But whatever I cook it gets off quickly. I am glad about it.
