Another wonderful break in Malta.

On Monday the hubby and I returned from another great holiday in Malta, we have been there regularly for the last few years as his Mother and Step-father live over there, we have also made many friends so much so that it is getting harder to come home each time! Malta is an island stacked with history and it is easy to fill 10 days, along with lovely scenery and fun nightlife the time goes so quickly. Have you been to Malta? Where is your favourite destination?

Those palms get everywhere these days! It's not often you see such a good photo of them taken from that perspective, though. The south-east of the island can be quite nice, quieter than where your photo was probably taken.

Thank you! My in-laws live in Qawra so its a nice walk round to Bugibba/St. Pauls where this was taken on SUCH a beautiful day :)

@gemmsky I thought it might have been Bugibba, with St. Paul's island behind you as you took the photo. I've noticed the palm trees are now even a feature of the bay where I spent a lot of my youth, although the big luxury hotel on the southern promontory was nothing more than a shell when I last saw it, a ruin, completely stripped of anything of value.

i seldom hear anything about malta to be honest. im no traveller but its nice to see places around the world on pictures. that one youve got has the nicest sky ever. is that outside a museum or something?

Its taken by a harbour and its a lovely walk on a day like that, I miss that sky now I'm back in cloudy UK lol ;)

I've not been to Malta - we're on holiday in Spain at the moment. We usually come here twice a year, Spring and Autumn.

It is, July and August are almost to hot to handle, but by October it is very pleasant - always the risk of wind or a storm but that applies any time of year being an island and all that.

Never been to Malta. Overseas travel is out for me these days with the world being so dangerous. One doesn't feel safe at home much less Paris or London.
