A day of happiness turned to a day of saddness / myLot

Today was my mother's 42nd birthday . I lost her to a accident 2 years back . Every year we would celebrate her bday with lots of celebrations with family and friends . She would be happy with small gestures and her face would light up seeing a small cake . But after 2 years we are here , but she is not . All i could see on my family 's face was sheer grief . Its ironic how a day which would bring happiness to our life but now is a day of saddness. Happy birthday mommy

How awful for you and your family. I'm so sorry she passed away so tragically and at such a young age. My mom passed away earlier than she should have, too.
