My close friend is pregnant. I haven't known a lot of pregnant women. And now I'm seeing changes in her. Is it normal for pregnant women? She has weird cravings that makes me scratch my head most of the time. It has been haunting me for days. I feel like she is a different person.
Can you recommend some ideas how can I be of help. Her husband told me the chance of it to be a risky pregnancy is high.

It really depends on what she's craving. While cravings are normal in pregnancy there is a condition called "pica" where the pregnant woman craves non-food items.
I knew I was pregnant with my second child when I ate chocolate chips and pickles and thought it was delicious. LOL

When I was pregnant I was just craving for food and lots of food. I could eat almost anything, including the ones I used to dislike. One way to help your friend is to comfort her when she's having mood swings. Pregnant women become too emotional and they need attention. Pregnant women become really selfish so try to give her all the attention that you can and be patient because it's just the hormones! Good luck!

Uh oh. Trouble. Big monster in the house. I really don't know what to do if she gets emotional since it is my first time seeing her that way. She keeps on eating too. She doesn't eat the food she used to like. Plus m allergic to perfumes. And she sprays them around us. I ended up with unending sneezes.

@geizshan that's pretty weird. Pregnant women usually don't like perfumes. But to each her own maybe.
