Which Do You Like Rainy or Sunny Day?

It is getting hot these days with the sun fully shining. It is hard to work or be outside of our homes due to the hot and humid temperatures. Some people who have health issues fear of heat stroke. When the rainy months come in, people will complain of the floods and hard situations specially when you are commuting to your work. It is so hard to get taxi rides because drivers can be choosy. But it is cooler during the rainy season. Which do you prefer the sun or the rain?

When it's too hot - we complain. When it's raining and gloomy - complain. I like the weather to be cool - is that an option? But if I had to pick, I'd like rain because it doesn't rain here often (California) and we're in a drought so we need the rain. And when it does rain it only rains a little at a time.

Yes, it's human nature, to always complain! ha ha ha! Yes, cold weather is also an option; I forgot that other members here came from countries with different seasons. So sad about the drought in your state.

@acelawrites Yes, it's horrible. Many are ditching their gardens since water is pricey! So it's not common to see vibrant green lawns here. If you consume more than the average family water prices are in tiers and can be white costly!

@infatuatedbby so water costs high in your place, and of course you won't just allot a big chunk of your budget to water your plants. I am sure doing some water recycling can help a little like reusing water you used for your plants. I do it to save on water bills, and to pinch hit on preserving the environment.

Thanks, @carebear29, I guess because you have less sunny months there? Yes, it is nice to be out in the sun specially in the morning.

Of course I will like the sunny day much more because it will give me a good mood. I can also have more outdoor activities. I don't like the rainy day since everywhere is moist and wet. It is so uncomfortable. And I can stay at home most of the time because of the rain.

@acelawrites I am not afraid of the hot weather. I grow up better in hot places rather than cold ones

People do love sunshine, but not the heat. And so, the rains kept you in your home? Just a blessing in disguise in some way. Thanks for your response, @youless.

Thanks, @marlina,so good you like both, maybe because you live in a temperate country where sunny days does not mean having so hot temperatures like in our place.

@PapaBits so true, specially in Metro Manila and other low-lying areas. So glad the temperature in our place is still bearable.

That is one advantage of rainy days; it is cooler and yes, we can wear thicker clothing.

I like both but at different time and at different hour. I like rainy nights so that I can sleep better. I like sunny day (not too hot) on weekends so that I can go to the seaside or the park.

That is true, @scheng1, it is really nice to sleep when it is raining; the raindrops lull us to sleep.

Oh yes, I really wanted to go to Baguio, But I am afraid of too much traffic when so many people flock there during summer months. One of these days perhaps, when less people go up there.

I don't mind at all whether it's rainy or sunny .. We need both .. But of course the extremes unfortunately are both inconvenient and disruptive..

I agree, both humans and all living creatures need both sun and rain. We humans complain when it gets so uncomfortable and when floods/rains hinder our normal activities.

It really depends -- I don't like to go out in rainy season nor in afternoon of hot summer. So if I am at home with my family I will enjoy both seasons

I prefer the sunny days of spring and fall. Summers are hot and humid here. It's okay most of the time, but by August I'm really tired of it. Our winters are usually wet, but mild.

It;s good you have nice sunny days of the year, unlike here when one can get a heat stroke if he gets out so much in the sun. Your winter is not so harsh also.

Based on what I have read here at mylot it is a lot hotter in your country then where I live. I live in Pennsylvania in the United States. Right now it is considered warm for April and it was 55 F yesterday. To me that is still to chilly. I like it warm and no rain!

Actually I love both provided they don't go to extremes. Too much rain brings in flood and so I dread that, too much heat I could not stand either but I love moderate sunny day.
