Where Did You Get Your Username?

I did the same thing. Wanted to use a pen name and couldn't think of anything so grabbed an old country song I was thinking about. One of those snap decisions.

I got mine because my old boss was into skulls and stuff. Pirates that sort of nature

allen0187 is my user name for the longest time that I can remember. 'allen' is part of my real first name. '187' is the number of ex-girlfriends that I have had in my life before I got uninterested in keeping count. '0' is the number of girls who knew that they were my girlfriend during that time.

I got my best pal's name. He was so dearly and I cannot never see him again. So I used his name to remember him.

I love poetry so I chose rhyme and blue is my favorite color, I combined both words, that makes it rhymeblue. I am also a chatter in a dating site and funny, those people I became friends with call me rhyme instead of my real name. I'm loving it though.

I did write about my username on Bubblews and maybe i have here although I'm not sure and would need to go back and check what I've written lol. My username kevin1877uk I've used since I came to the internet back in 1996/97 Kevin is my name, 1877 is my old works number and I live in the UK.

I just came up with my own username. I like the ocean so... But later on I found that it is also the name of a carrier ship. And now it is also the name of a royal tiara.

I got my name in church. We were having a yard sale early in the morning so some of us ladies spent the night there. I was walking around dragging my blanket and trying to find a place to sleep. Someone called me Linus after the Peanuts character and it stuck. I put aka in front of Linus. Aka stands for also known as. I started using the name as my writing name. akalinus

I don't want to use my real name, I talk about family and funny things that I don't want to embarrass my kids or anyone I know so I don't want you to know who I am... On Bubblews I couldn't get help after signing up as PaintsOnSlate so I deleted my posts and got another name CampInsanity. I do Paint On Slate for a living and I camp every year and our camp is called Camp Insanity.

I have used by real name and the first two letters of my surname. By Bubblews name was taken here so I had to add the extra letter.

I have three usernames I use. DesirousDreamer: I made this because I needed to make a production name in my Junior year of high school media class. I thought it was pretty and I love to dream. YuleDream: I use this for games and again I think it is pretty and it just sounds like, "You will dream" kind of like "You wish you could win hahaha!" MissAnnebel: Which is the name of my youtube channel. I wrote a character called Miss Annebel in an old script and she kind of reoccures in a lot of scripts. I love Edgar Allan Poe so Annabel Lee is one of his poems of course and yeah!

My nickname Ruby was given to me when I was a Girl Guide leader. My Sparks, little girls 5-6 years old, gave it to me from their Sparks Story. The numbers were from a suggested name, when I jioned a gaming site years ago. That name just stuck, and I use it almost everywhere....

My username is from a character from a PC Game, a username generator. Neverwinter Nights, cool game, by the way :)

My husband at the time gave me the name when we first got the internet. I was actually 31 years old at that time, but he thought I was 32 LOL marsha32 has stuck and I use it most everywhere. I am 50 years old now.

I use the same name on all sites...Bubblews as well. I randomly pulled two books of the bookshelf...one by Susan Hunt and one by Robert Morley.....you can guess the rest. Interestingly the name I chose, has my real initials.

Mine is just my first name. I sometimes will use other names from games or novels.

That's a cool way to get your user name. Good old eBay! I use this name because my hubby always says "no way" when I ask him for anything, so my response is always "yes way"!
