One Country --- One MyLotter

Many members mention how much they like the fact that they can meet people from all over the world on the site. But do they really know where in the world their online friends live? Where all these countries are? You may be able to find the US of A and India on the map without any problems, but Latvia or Croatia? Fiji or Romania?
Today I'm offering you a very special geography lesson. Not "What's the highest mountain?" or "Where's the largest desert?" but "Which countries are represented by only one member on myLot? Find them on a map of the world."*
I like the idea that there are nations from which only one member has found their way to myLot. They're not all alike, though. Let's compare Mongolia and Germany, for example. Mongolia is about 4.3 times larger than Germany. Quite impressive, isn't it? Yet, Germany has ~26.6 times more inhabitants than Mongolia. I must admit that I find it more impressive that only one German from ~81 mill. inhabitants has found their way to this site than one person from ~3 mill. Mongolians.
Here is the list. How many of these countries can you find without any problems? [Do you know on which continent to look for them at all? :-)]
Algeria
Bangladesh
Bermuda
Bulgaria
Czech Republic
Croatia
Denmark
Dominican Republic
Fiji
France
Germany
--
Hong Kong
Iran
Israel
Italy
Jamaica
Latvia
Luxembourg
Mexico
Mongolia
Oman
---
Republic of Ireland
Pakistan
Portugal
Qatar
Romania
Russia
Saint Lucia
Sri Lanka
Switzerland
Tahiti
---
Tanzania
Vietnam
Zimbabwe (34)
---
*I may have overlooked a country or included countries from which there is more than one member. If you notice this, give me a shout and I'll correct it.

As I expected, none of those are unknown to me, although I would be searching around the Caribbean to locate Saint Lucia and looking all around the South Pacific for Fiji.
The difficult ones these days are the newly evolved Soviet satellites.

The USA have 50 states, but the Soviet Union had only 15 republics. They aren't satellites now, but independent states. They aren't difficult to learn. You can learn them in groups. The former Baltic states in the north. The ones in the west, the ones in the Caucasus region and the Central Asian ones. The rest is Russia.

I think I'd be able to find the majority of them but not without problems
There used to be another German on the old site but I've not come across her for years now.
Europe is very under represented on here.

I can locate those countries. That's quite a lot of countries. If you add in the countries with multiple members, myLot truly spans the globe and every continent. Now, there just needs to be someone from the base at Antarctica!

@MALUSE you know we both like to travel so we need to know where these places are. I find it sad that some people go to places and have no idea where these places actually are!

I can find most of them, but there are a few I'm not sure of. I've never been good with geography.

I notice that the country listed in Mylot profile of many users refers to the country of residence, not the home country.
Many of them are working in countries outside their home countries, and some of them probably retire in another country.
@richnonai is definitely not born in Thailand, but he lives in Thailand.

Very interesting list and yes I knew where they all were. The world is getting much smaller since the internet. So much information at our finger tips...
