When I was younger I used to camp all the time with my grandparents on Lake Sandusky in Ohio. When we moved to Florida my parents never took us camping. My brother and went camping with some friends in Ocala National Forest. It was really nice there. We had a blast. We went canooing. They have natural springs.

Yes, I guess you don't have many trees in Arizona? I could be wrong, since I have never travelled there yet.

We camp a lot, usually through our historical re-enacment these days, so we'll camp at whichever show we are doing, but sometimes we just take off and sleep in the woods as well. Must admit we havent dne it so much in the last year or two, ife seems to be very busy these days, but I do love waking up withtrees over me and fresh air on my face.

Sounds amazing. Yes I have to agree, I love waking-up to fresh air and being surrounded by nature.

It's called Ohio Power Lands and is located in the southeastern part of Ohio. It's free priimitive camping with pit toilets and approved drinking water in spigots and is for any residents on Ohio Power Electric. These coal lands are reclaimed and hold the best wild fishing waters ever. Over 100 lakes, many which can only be hiked in to are restocked every year. All you need is the one time only permit which can be aquired at any Ohio Electric Power office and is permanantly good as long as you are a customer.
