Ingratitude

Does it bother you when you spend a lot of time explaining something or helping someone and once they have got what they wanted, they walk away without saying thank you or even acknowledging your help. Does ingratitude bother you or do you take this in your stride?

It bothers !e much more when people telephone me about problems with their computer and argue about the solutions that I recommend.

@jstory07 It infuriates me when they claim I am wrong and try telling me things that they guess about.

I never expect anything in return not even thanks also, I will help people if I can, and never wait for their word thanks, I just move out and never bothered, but I have oberved some of the people they do bother and going on thinking about it and I don't think it is so important.

I dont let it bother me. A person in need usually has so much in his mind that he forgets to say thank you to the one person who helped him .

When it happens at work and it does happen a lot, I have no choice but to take in in stride. What I hate is when people don't want to listen to me when I'm sharing with them a better way to do things. Many say they've been doing it a certain way for years and know what they're doing when in fact they don't really know. ( I work in a grocery store as a cashier).

There are so many people with such personality. I just ignore it and think that I had helped them.

I do what needs to be done and the bonus is some gratitude expressed but I do not allow others to make me unhappy though they can make me happy! siva

That surely is a terrible thing to do. I mean, a thank you wouldn't hurt! But well, there are such people all around. It does hurt a bit but I don't bother much.
