I am a step grandparent! I have 2 beautiful granddaughters a four and 19 month old. They are delightful and a such a bright spot in my life, keep me young and on my toes. The four year old is also in our Sunday School class which is such a wonderful opportunity to be such a big part of her spiritual growth she will be in our age group until she is seven, and by then we will have the younger one with us. You didn't mention how many times you are a grandparent or the gender and age of your grandchildren? Will you share?

Yep, have 3 grand-girls. All are special because you can send them home when they don't mind you. Also, you get to sleep at night while your children are paying for their raising. But they sure do make Christmas more expensive! It's hard to say no.

I have a 15 month old grandson. He lives about three hours away but I go see him every chance I get. We visited last weekend and slept in his room with him. He woke up in the middle of the night and I figured he'd cry for his mommy but he let me pick him up and hold him and cuddle till he went back to sleep. I love that he knows me. I also have one on the way! I can't wait. Grandbabies are the best.
I also have two grandparents still living.

Me too! I am now a grandparent. My son has twin daughters, already 4 years old and I am taking care of them most of the time. It's very tiresome but I enjoy being with them and taking care of them.

I have my first grandchild! A beautiful baby girl. The only sad part is that she lives 3-4 hours away and I don't get to see her as often as I would like. My son is great to keep me in a steady flow of digital pictures on the computer so that I can see her growth but there is nothing like holding her!

I am a grandmom and love it to pieces! The things that my grandkids and I do are out of sight. We tease at each other all the time. I have a 9, 11 and 12 year old and we do all kinds of things. I take them to the park, McDonalds, we go for walks, listen to music and dance and that is just a few of the things we do together. Grandparent there is nothing like it.

I am not a grandparent but I am a uncle. Congratulations on being a grandparent. I bet that you love your grandchild like crazy and hope you are enjoying being a grandparent.
