The manner of having bad intentions can also be a good venue for the bad elements to gain through the use of these social medias. We need also to be vigilant if it happens.

I ve only heard of the normal "Facebook" and normal "Whatup". So there is combination for these two now? Oh noes. I have nothing else against it but I don't like it when it needs my phone number and real name to be shown to everyone who I talk with. It makes me feel unsafe.

@Tapas678 Maybe but if your friend add you to group where are other friends of theirs then their other friends also get your number.

Although I don't often use Facebook and Whatsapp but I think it is good to use the social media apps to communicate with others.

I find text messaging to be the best as far as keeping in touch with friends. But I did use Whatsapp once to communicate with a friend while he was studying abroad since I had no other way to keep in contact with him. It was really just a messenger, and seemed to work all the well.
