i need help

can somebody help me on this yesterday we were arguing with one of my best friend about the word deploy, to him deploy mean to spread message to reach people but to me i think deploy is only used in , as an example police where deployed to enhance the security so was i wrong can you correct me please.

The word deploy has its functions depending on the usage in parts of speech. It also depends on the context of the constructed sentences using deploy.

Usually deploy means to dispatch a military or men in uniform to another battlefield.
