Tails From The Doggie Side

Scrappy is back as Spring is here. Brooklyn's playfulness has picked up 10 fold since Spring has sprung. Not to hot, not to cold, just right for the little scrapper. That is the nickname that stuck the most when she was a wild puppy. Scrappy and Maligator because she used to bite the crap out of you. One would get little bite marks all over their hands and arms. It was quite painful at times. Thankfully, she does not play like that anymore, except when Miss Kai and her play. Anyway, back in Chicago when we were helping our other brothers clean up their fathers condo. Brooklyn and Tristan came along. Brooklyn loved that condo because of the basement. It had about as much square footage as our whole house. Her, Tristan, and I got stuck living in the basement for the week. Tells you were I am in the families hierarchy, Haha. After the first few days when we got some stuff cleared out, we moved the folding couch down there so the three of us did not have to sleep on the dirty floor anymore. It was much better, but Brooklyn kind of wrecked the new found luxury a couple of days later. My buddy Tristan and I were just laying down for our afternoon nap.We were old and needed it. Brooklyn was brand new and still wanted to play. She thought we were being boring. She was on the far side of the basement playing with her rope toy. I was not really paying any attention to her, as I was trying to sleep. The next thing I hear is these little paws pounding the basement concrete floor. By the time I go to look, I see her flying over me and she hits the middle of the folding couch and collapses the whole thing. Her, Tristan, and I were all folded up in the couch. Lucky for her, it scared the crap out of Tristan or she would probably be walking around with no head right now. We all get out and I fix the bed the best I could, but it was now all bent up. I could not fold it back into the couch anymore. it still worked for the time being. It lasted for the next three times when Brooklyn kept collapsing it. I guess she thought it was fun. Needless to say, the last night in Chicago. Tristan, her and I were back on the floor because Miss Scrappy done broke the bed.

@teamfreak16 True. but then again when a stray cat gets hungry. They will let the world know. They are not to proud to get fed.

@crossbones27 - And then there are our cats, who have no idea what stress is. Why stress when you can just fall asleep right where you are for four or five hours?

They are best when you need a hug. Nice when humans have not corrupted everything,. That is their spirit though, not ours. Makes you think.

They are cool at times, other times not so much. Would not trade them for the world though.
