the expression and the background is dark and brooding, maybe even calculating and determined, but i like the light on the face to balance the darkness. i see a waterfall so it's like a breakthrough? a rebirth?

thanx @hereandthere ... the waterfall is actually an energy scape .... depicting what is going on in the mind and around the main character in the center :)
