A paracetamol will do, but if the fever does not subside then let your children drink an antibiotic.

If the temperature is not over 38.5 degrees, perhaps it is OK to use the physical treatment. I will give a lot of glucose water to my son. Besides, I will also use the cooling paste and paste it onto his forehead.

cooling paste is ok, what about glucose water, is it effective to bring down temperature?

@westlake007 I think the glucose water will be somewhat helpful.

You can do sponge bath for the child and monitor the temperature of the child. It should be lower than 40 degrees Celsius.

@westlake007 I thi k that is basic way to handle such condition. We don't want to fall the child into convulsion.

I wouldn't know what to do. I can't get fevers myself, so I wouldn't even know how to treat someone else.

@westlake007 Strange genetics, probably. My mother can't get fevers either. I have the flu from time to time, but no temperature from it.
