We have so much wildlife around our area it is unbelievable. Yesterday there were chipmunks out front of the house and in the back we saw pheasants and a big old turkey along with all the bunnies. By the way the other day when my dogs were outside there was a baby bunny that my younger dog brought to me. It seemed to be in distress so I wrapped it up and put it in a box to see if it could be brought around. I think it must have had some neurological problems to begin with. Then we see lots of deer on the side of our house and in the back and also we see turtles on the road from time to time. We also see all kinds of birds as we are so close to the wildfowl area. Isn't the picture of the chipmunk cute?

Your chipmunk photo is awesome! We have the same animals as you do, except for rabbits. We also have red fox, coyotes, and once saw a Fischer.

I gather the bunny didn't make it? You are lucky to have all that wildlife. Did you take that lovely picture yourself?

@jaboUK No the bunny did not make it. When I first saw the chipmunk I thought it was a squirrel but it did not have the bushy tail and it was stripped.

It's great living in an area where you see so much wildlife. The only wildlife I see are rabbits, squirrels, an occasional chipmunk and lots of birds.

I miss the squirrels and lightning bugs we used to see when I was growing up. Nothing like that in Tokyo. Mostly crows, but some nice feral kitties too. My non-feral kitties keep the birds away from my house so I have to go out to find nice small birds. We have a lot of pigeons pretty much everywhere, including at school

I dislike crows but like smaller birds, good you have pet cats. My grandfather used to raise and train carrier pigeons which you reminded me of.

I wish I had that much wildlife where I live. In the old town home community I lived at for the first 15 years I lived in Dallas, I saw possums, raccoons, alley cats, and squirrels. Oh and lizards. And in my current complex we get Raccoons, Squirrels, and aley cats... I haven't seen any turkeys, deer, or chipmunks. Though Texas is pretty big. I might not be in the right region.
