Should i be jealous or envy or... nah.
Town's smelling money. The one in the position has been doing a "loyalty check", a fishy move.
Where am i getting the informations?
Colleagues.
After getting some amount as an allowance for their travel months ago, the "giving" of money hasn't stopped.
Since i didn't go, got no money and never asked to vote straight.
Yesterday, i heard about getting another envelopes, total of 3,000 pesos (around $65). The rumor is true then.
Told them, me, being different, has a price. Haha. They maybe getting money, but me...will be having a clear conscience.
The price for me is...i can sleep soundly at night. Lol. No worries of getting pressured of the words i said and promised to vote for them on election day.
This.is how dirty politics can be here in the Philippines and some is taking advantage of the "season".

I am so used to it. There's nothing new in the Philippines politics. It has been like this since i was born. It'll never stop at all.

@LadyDuck I'm not worried at all. I'm one of those who withdraw money from the bank and pay people to get their votes.

With due respect, I think you should still vote. Maybe , your vote can make a difference. Hoping for the best.

I've heard that also in our place, if we vote straight we can receive P3,000 and after voting, we can have another and what they call it backing fee of P2,000.00 OMG, what kind of politics we have now, a very dirty one and corrupt politicians.

I really hate this kind of set-up where in the politicians even bribe the voters and blind them with just petty amounts. Then if they got elected, they left the people behind just to there thing. Steal money from the nation and worst no improvements made.
