The appetizer menu

Today the plan is no distant relatives who want to come, because it comes so suddenly, our family was busy preparing some menu dishes for a meal together. All room cleared including the room the kitchen clean and dirty kitchen for cooking preparation. It has become customary of our family, if there are relatives who come we will definitely make many kinds of dishes to serve. Yes, although it was busy but we are happy to do so. Before the dinner started, as an appetizer usually what are you serving?

For every day sometimes we also do not make an appetizer when going to dinner, because today feels special to eat with relatives. Feel more comfortable when making menu appetizer before dinner.

It entrees were very good, but my family often make some fried bananas and potatoes mixed with spicy sauce, no meat. Happy to share with you. Another time I want to try to make the menu a dish like that. Sounds delicious ....

We tend to practice a mixed serving for the appetizer. We were been influenced by American culture.

Yes, snails are also good for the appetizer menu. In my usual place called the golden snail, usually fried or made satay. And it was used as a snack before starting to eat together.

@jacksta1 - I've seen various Indonesian recipes and they all look appetizing, even if they aren't appetizers. You have completely redefined snack food with that suggestion.

@cmoneyspinner Yes, indeed this morning came from the city of Yogyakarta relatives aunt and her husband coincidence native of Amsterdam, Netherlands. Finally we make an appetizer before dinner. Yes, although only a light meal as an appetizer.
