Is there any way to completely overcome ADHD without medication

ADHD might be the worst desease or disorder to face a srudent or someone who needs to stay concentrated even to the stuff he doesn't like , isn't there anyway to overcome ADHD without using medications or therapists ?, maybe some habbits or specific types of food ?

I don't know if that is possible. I don't have ADHD, but there are people who are for both sides of this argument of whether or not medication is the right thing to use for it

Ya I know still nothing is proved on both sides some say that sports (lots of it) can solve the problem i do belive in this method but only few peole can spend 5 hours a day aside of the effort to practice for like 3-5 hours a day

@engineer92 I remember watching a show where a son in a family had it and he wanted to be off his meds so he got into high school wrestling and that worked for him for a while

Social skills... Have more friends to interact with. Like playing and working with them most of the time.Spend more time wth your family. Or maybe have self - analysis to better know your self, your wants, needs, likes or dislikes. Those are the techniques that I know aside from medications and therapists.

From what I heard sleep, diet which involves eating a lot of fish because people with ADHD suffer from a lack of omega-3 fatty acids. Also heard listening to music might help overall because it can help hone attention.

I worked with a girl one time and it took a lot for her. But she was fine with no meds. It comes back to those parents who just put their kids on medication. Many times it is not the disease that is the issue.

Welcome to myLot! Diet may help, but not for all my students and nephew, who were all diagnosed with ADHD or ADD.
