During the month of May, mango fruits in my parents' garden are already as big as a fist of a child. How lovely to see them clinging on each twig or branch of the mango tree which almost touch the ground.
My parents spend hours in the Nipa Hut they built inside their garden to watch these fruits because there are children who cannot avoid picking the mangoes even if it is still young.
I really love eating mangoes, especially if it's already golden yellow. But I also want it sliced and dip in "bagoong" or mixed with tomatoes and onions. It's my favorite fruit.
How about you? Is mango your favorite fruit too?

@hereandthere .. I don't know really. I think they got the seedlings from our local department of agriculture.

I love to eat sweet mangoes but my kids prefer to eat more on sour mangoes dipped with spicy bagoong.

@MGjhaud ..my parents have Durian tree in their garden. I think it's the only Durian tree in our province. Many people wondered how they were able to have it grow there where in fact it only grows in Davao. If I am not mistaken.
Last year it had its fruits. Its the yellow variety. Its sweet.
