Did I mention, I planted a pineapple

We had just bought a pineapple from the store and I wanted to see if I could grow one. We cut off its top, removed some of the bottom leafs and planted it. Here's a photo. After it greens, that is if the roots take, one can then force it to fruit with a plastic bag and an apple. I can't wait to see if it grows.

Hi Wendy! Long see, no time. I love pineapples, but never thought to try and grow one as I assume they need to be in a tropical environment and need special care and attention. Good luck with that.

@WendySpickerman 8 years? Oh, I couldn't wait that long. I guess you are getting more satisfaction watching it grow than actually eating anything.

If you give the necessary fertile things, it would grow.
