Early Mothers Day Gift

Yesterday my daughter came over to take me out to lunch. She brought me this beautiful hanging basket of pansies, a couple of videos and some other gifts.
We went to St Hubert for lunch. Tried something new. They had a Vegetable Soup, topped with spinach and grilled chicken. It was delicious and very filling. Of course the meal included dessert, so I had the brownie topped with warm chocolate sauce. Very filling but tasted so good.
Most of all I enjoyed the visit with my daughter. Her husband had been planning to come with her but changed his mind as he had some reading to do for a course he is taking.
So, even though I will not have any of my children with me on Mothers' Day, I have been treated well. I am sure my boys will be phoning me on Sunday.

First of I no must compliment you how pretty your hanging flowers are.
Glad to hear you are having a blast of the this mother's day celebration.. as they say that how your kids treat you now is the reflection of how you treated them when they we're young. Congratulations for being such a wonderful mother.

What a gorgeous basket of flowers! If I get a phone call, I'm happy. However, one son is in France, but texts me daily, and I will be treated to dinner by my younger son and husband on Mother's Day. You have a loving family, and that's all that counts.

This is just lovely. How nice. I got several gifts about a month ago and this morning my daughter brought into my room a huge bouquet for me to enjoy. Smells wonderful. Kids can be nice can't they? LOL

I always like pansies, they look like little faces.
