Lot of friends you know a little, or just a few friends you know well?

lol, yeah but sometimes you find out things you really didn't want to know about them , in other words getting too much information on certain subjects.

I try to know as much about my friends as possible. One can never have too many friends. But, also remember that you have different levels of friendship. Current, past, old, people you were once friends with but are now only acquaintences.

It's a lot of work though to memorize too much, and if you try to know too much they might view you as nosy, sort of a thin line you have to tread :)

A few friends that I know well. They are there when you need them instead of only there when you can give them something.

well if they are friends only because I can give them something, they don't remain my friend for long.

Yeah, that way if something goes wrong you have someone you can rely on to talk to also

I think balance is the most important thing. I think it is vital to have a small group of friends who you would share anything with but also a group of friends who you aren't that cloe but get on well when you need to escape from yourself for a while

I am a very simple girl who likes to help people and trusts them easily. My this simplicity had made my so called friends use me for their benefit ant then they had thrown me aside. So, If yoy would ask my opinion then I would prefer a small group of people who would understand me and will be with me in thick and thin

i prefer to have only a few close friends, which in fact i do...you never know who to trust anymore nowadays. so, i only have a few close friends that i could go to when i have problems or hang out with them for fun! ;0)

Yeah, plus makes it easier to schedule your free time too, that way people don't get offended you don't see them as often as they want.

I'd prefer to have a small group of friends that I actually trust and can actually identify with. Large groups of friends are highly unappealing to me. There is usually a lot of inter-group drama and crap that you really don't need when you're hanging with friends. A close circle of friends you know you can trust and rely on is best.

Thanks for responding, can understand your opinion. I tend to prefer the small group of friends, but everyone has their own preferences obviously.
