Sacrifices of Long Distance Relationships

College is a huge step that has an effect on relationships, and I don't exactly know how much of an impact long distance will have in the future.
I mean, if the love is strong, I think that it can work out. However, it is a big sacrifice, considering the fact that communication becomes more of an important factor AND you can't really do any big things that you did all the time, like go on dates or hang out whenever you're lonely, etc.
I am willing to hold on. I feel as if it's something that is manageable, simply because it's temporary. And penciling in a few hours a day to talk to the person that you love is just what you'll have to do, if you're willing to keep it strong.

@MEAngle I'm tempted to discourage you but it's not fair. Let's give your relationship a chance. There's always an exception to the rule. Keep the faith and stay happy. Don't worry about the future as it hasn't happened yet. Smile.
