Nowadays, the issue whether university students should be encouraged to take part time job or not has been brought to public attention. While some people hold the idea that university students should be encouraged to take part time job, other believes that the university students should not be encouraged to take part time job.In my opinion, both arguments contain certain elements of truth.Do you agree that university students should be encouraged to take part time job or not?

For me, its really good choice if university student take part time job. It can become they pre-training before jump into the "real" work life.
They will learn how to handle people and face the difference of each of them. So they will more prepared when they finished their study and start to work

Yes, they should. Especially if they are from a household that is struggling financially to begin with. If they intend to have their own place when they graduate, then having to get a job and pay for their own tuition, books, food, etc will help them to have a better understanding of what to expect, They will have a better sense of responsibility.

Its actually all depends on the financial capacity of the parents of this student. Also depends on the schecmdule of the student if it would cater on a part time job.
For my experience when I was in the university back in the days I did not have a part time job, I am being a full time student and a full time daughter.haha

I think it is nice for university students to do part time jobs. It teaches them time management, responsibility, accountability, and people skills. They can definitely use this after they graduate Uni.
