Staying young with aging is not so tough a job. The very first thing is stay good at heart. Next comes our physical being. This credit goes to my mom and grandmothers( mom& Dad's mother). As a child they cared both for my physical health, food, skin and hair which I still maintain.
The weekly turmeric with some milk and gram flower as a pack for the body and some good face pack has kept my skin glowing. Of the seasonal fruits that I take as I love fruits a lot.
For my hair I use some amla(Indian goose berry) and henna power mixed with beetroot juice or beetroot boiled in water, some tea liquor and a teaspoon of curd. I add a drop of castor oil to it. This method has arrested greying of my hair.
Of course I have cared for them since my teens. Today at 54 I don't need any hair dye.
Live the healthy way and stay young.

That's wonderful but we would be more convinced if you show us a photo of how young you look with all those natural goodies that you've been using over the years. It could really be inspiring.

Genetics does work, but if you do yoga it helps in bringing about genetic changes. I do practice yoga every morning and am marking the physical changes in me.

You can use it as amla oil is good for hair but I use a different hair oil that's available in India. It really works well. I was laid down with typhoid and jaundice four years back and this particular hair oil sold by 'Patanjali' helped me get back my lost hair.

@aninditasen Oh, thanks! Actually I would want my hair to look a little reddish. I once mixed henna with hibiscus powder and it wasn't bad.

Increase the ratio of amla powder. Apply the mixture a keep it for two hours and then give your hair a shampoo wash. A herbal one would be better. Yes it looks reddish for a day but as I oil my hair regularly the black luster comes back.

Good thing you know how to cope up with aging.. like my dear aunt would always say that all the more you need to take good care of yourself as you age.

Good for you for not dying your hair. I am 51 and dyed my hair couple of times already. Good thing my skin is still glowing.
