In the early days, there was no electricity. People took dinner about 6 pm to 7 pm before dark and go to sleep about 9 or 10 pm . Compared to the lifestyle now, 11 mid-night we still enjoy eating and drinking.
We should sleep 2 hours after meal, not after dinner. The digestion problem is not working alone, the liver has to work. They need to help the stomach to break different kinds of food and the content of the food. so that they can be used and send to different parts of the body.
If you operate a night food stall and closed at 11 pm, doesn't mean that you can go home now. You need to clean up all the rubbish and clean up your kitchen. Arrange the chair and tables. By the time you finished it is almost 2 am already.
The same to the stomach, after the digestion completed, the liver has to clean up and arrange back as before and rest. Usually this process will start after mid night.
When the liver want to refresh themselves, we are still eating. The liver need to rest also.
Today most people suffer liver problem, the liver work work and refresh little.
Is good not to have too heavy meal with meats and heavy drinks at night. Choose a lighter meal for easy digestion.
Live towards happy life,
