@toniganzon pretty memorable indeed if not shocking. How did you deal with that?

A lot of stuff has been served to me and keeps getting served. But sadly, it only makes me more obstinate....
I neither proposed to her to leave her, nor did I marry her to leave her...
If someone has to initiate the breakup, it has to be her (in my case of course).... and it is only then that I can find that "something memorable"... until then, I remember nothing

@Daljinder On the darker sides... what might be good for me, might not be that good for all

My first X told me on new years eve to "go and feck yourself".. I broke up with him due to the fact he was an insecure, possessive maniac.. and he didn't take it well.
recently he got in touch after years of non-contact.. I still wonder why or what gave him the confidence to talk to me again.. what a nutter!

@Daljinder I would beware of dating someone who is made up of the 3 words Pun, jab, eye.

@Daljinder ... God knows why but he felt like saying he will marry me...it took me back...others started talking...coz I was from Mumbai and he was from conservative background...may be he thought he would get free lunches. lol. DIDN'T. lol. Needed the job badly so put up with it for as long as I could and then outta there. lol

@Daljinder ... You know I may be old fashioned...but after marriage it is strictly loyalty system...the person crosses boundaries...even to flirt, I get annoyed.

Well it's the closest I have for a break up as I've never really had a boyfriend EVER. As guys here don't seem to bring up the relationship topic at all.
He said: "I'm sure you'll find someone better than me. Until then you're free to use me for your dirty fantasies."

@Daljinder It's amusing actually. I'm thinking of what dirty fantasies he is connoting? "Playing in mud?". It's pretty recent and thus the emoticon.

@Daljinder nothing is something?
I was wondering why you posted this. I thought maybe you were looking for the right words to use to break up with me.
I've gotten nothing so know what it feels like.

My response to this discussion will be long. I'll copy paste the memorable parts of the breakup letter. I initiated the breakup and sent him I think 2-3 page breakup letter. Well, he did the same thing. It will always be the most memorable for me because we ended it not because of a third party.
I am so sorry that you were hurt by me. I did not at any time grow bored with you sweetheart, never. I think that my personality and quirks were just entirely too much to ask you to tolerate. You know what you want in your life and you deserve to have what you want more than anyone does, I just can't give that to you. The fights and arguments that we had were all two- way streets honey, they weren't caused by just you or just me. Honestly, I think that they were just a symptom of the deeper issues that we were both experiencing trying to make each other happy. I love you so much, but I understand more than most that love itself is just not enough. The things that you want and need for your happiness in a relationship, I just can't give them to you. You are such a beautiful, intelligent, wonderful, hard working, dedicated person, and I'd give anything if I could be the one that makes you happy in love. You were right about moving too quickly I think...I did and do love you Rina but I was not ready to give you all that you needed to be happy, and I should have known that. I'm sorry again for you being hurt...I hope that you know more than anything that I would never intentionally hurt you in any way.

how is my sister doing these past days? Busy as always?
I will not get to your earlier discussions on this, but the parts of the letter you put up here, I find you guys were good. I mean, at least you were practical, had a sight/vision and could trace out where things were going wrong. I know a breakup is sad to happen to anyone, but that is his version... and I know some of yours too.
Stay blessed, and be happy

@rina110383 wow! That is .....I have no words. I guess that is what we call a amiable break up. Are you two still friends? Or like you said earlier all the communications are cut off?
Thank you for the wonderful share Rina. Truly remarkable.

Oh no...not only that, they say they will marry you...they will marry you and none other, and they say it in front of many and finally they say they are joking. Fine..retreat...at least there is no loss. But then, they get married, and now bored with what they have on their hands try a double ride..that is when it becomes right to expose them, right?

@sathviksouvik .. It is called cowardice and regrets. Got over it in fraction of seconds since regrets give a great deal of ego satisfaction. Loved exposing that to his wife though. lol. Beech that I am, destroyed the beauty of his marriage with one shot. lol

@vandana7 Thanks Vannyji for the comments. The most frustrating part is that if the partner leaves for no fault of the other partner, what will the other partner do. I trust everyone in the world. When partners fail us, it is embarrasing.
