Time for Breakfast

I try to wait until hubby is out the door for breakfast, so I will not be in the way. He does not eat breakfast if he is working.
So, he is out the door and I am going to get my second cup of coffee and eat. Lately I eat a sandwich for breakfast, and may eat more traditional breakfast foods for lunch. I enjoy breakfast any time.
Do you have a regular breakfast that you enjoy? Do you eat breakfast or wait until noon?

For some people that would work. I would do better skipping a later meal.

@GardenGerty I know it wouldn't work for everyone. He said the reasoning is that if you don't eat for a period of 16 hours your body starts to draw on its reserves for its energy. Sounds logical but so does every other eating plan. But I don't feel hungry first up and I'm not using a lot of energy and so far it's working for me.

It sounds like the kind of food I would enjoy in the summer time.

@GardenGerty In winter instead of the yogurt I make porridge, or grits.

It is my favourite meal although sometimes it comprises only toast and marmalade. I avoid being in the kitchen when my husband is getting his breakfast which is much more fancy than mine.

I really need a substantial breakfast. Because of getting up early and a long commute hubby does not want one before work. He may eat a cereal bar in the car or something. We always have coffee.

I eat breakfast but not until the later part of the morning and my lunch is always mid afternoon. Normally I just like coffee when I get up and hold off eating for awhile. I think anything you enjoy makes for a great breakfast...I've been know it have pizza

We often have the breakfast at the same time. Since we have to either go to work or go to school, so we can only see each other in the morning and at night when we have dinner together. This is why I don't want to miss the breakfast time.

They really emphasize the importance to families to connect over meals.

I'm trying to get into the habit of having something to eat in the morning. I'm never hungry then but I'm not eating enough food as it is.

It is not good to go without food but some people do not feel the hunger.

I rarely eat breakfast. Normally a cup of coffee is good for me. I do have an early lunch at around 10:30 or so. I don't mind eating breakfast foods at different times of the day.

Later in the morning makes cooking easier. When it gets really hot I will eat less as well.

@GardenGerty I need to make up some more lowcarb granola, that was often good for a fast breakfast

Depending on what I had the night before that might work for a quick meal.

I always eat breakfast, usually orange juice, an egg, and toast. This morning I made apple pancakes with cinnamon in them and they were really good.
