I'm Here, Just Ugh!

I'm here, just ugh! Thank you so much my dear friend @DianneN for asking where I was! Big hugs to you, Dianne!
The ugh part is, flu! I wanted a change in seasons, had had enough of summer, and believe it or not, it still actually is not really cold here in JHB, but a few fresh days and wham!
Wham? Yes, wham! I got nailed by stomach flu, a week and a half ago, it was awful, just awful! Thought I was recovering from that and wham! Got hit by flu! Pains in body, heavy head, all the lovely symptoms!
I have wonderful medication that makes me woozy and have been eating chicken soup, if I never see chicken soup again, but oddly it is all I seem to be able to eat, ah, the irony.
So, I have tried to visit myLot, to interact a bit, but can barely keep my head up! I am going to try again today, see if it will pep me up a bit. How is it going with you all? Have a wonderful Friday and weekend ahead everyone!
The photo I am sharing is of this lovely waterfall I visited, and I snapped a shot of it, it looked soothing to me then and it looks soothing to me now.

I am so sorry to hear that you were brought down by the flu. We do tend to worry when we don't see other members for a few days. I hope you will be back to

@valmnz , hi there :) . I am slowly but surely getting to feeling better, thank you. I'm glad you have avoided the flu, and hope you continue to do so. This really is a bad time of the year for our hemisphere. Same here, the one time I went for the flu shot, I nearly ended up in hospital. So, tabs and vitamin C for me. :)

Ugh is right, I hope you get well quickly. I hate getting sick but I guess it happens to all of us ...chicken soup happens to all of us too. Try willing it away, I do when I get sick, sometimes it works, some times it doesn't but positive thoughts never hurt you...

Love you, and thanks for the mention. Since we have been in touch through messages, I know why you haven't been here. The key is to get well soon and don't worry about us. We will be here when you feel up to it. I hope it's sooner than later. What you really need is MY chicken soup!!!! Gigunda hugs!!!!
