The one that has that "nutty" fruit.
Aside from climbing fruit bearing trees, we do other stuff to fill our tummy.
When we were young, we usually dropped by to this.part of our school where shade tree(puno ng talisay) are lined up, picked up those dried fruits and mashed it with a stone/rock until we get that small nut inside.
Too small that sometimes.we.question ourselves on..."does our sweat.worth to have the small.nut?"
But then, we just shrug it off, because it is fun and feels great.to eat something that we really not just like, but also the "hardship". Lol
Do you have those fun stuff when you were younger?

My life is so colorful like a rainbow. There are so many good memories during childhood years. I like climbing a Bugnay tree (Antidesma bunius) and eat the sweet-sour fruits. There is one time that I was bit by a dog of my neighbor. I am not stealing the fruits. It just happened that their dog is being around and ready to bite my bottom. lol

Why do you contend yourself pounding that stone for a small nut - climb the coconut tree and get a big nut LOL!

We would go berry picking so we could have pies. My brothers and I would go together and pick berries for hours. We would be scratched up and covered with berry juice. But, it was worth it to be able to make a pie with them.

@Lucky15 They grow wild near the sides of the roadways and in the wooded areas. I have some great bushes in our yard too.

Usually in our place, these kind of tree grows beside the seashore.
when I was still in the elementary grades, we also used to go to the beach after school and get some of its fruits. Personally i don't like to eat it. I just enjoy mashing it.

I went to school in a busy city. But I remember me and best friend walking home, stopping by a church's loan and had a picnic there.
