Transgender Bathroom Law

The transgender bathroom debate seems to be getting more heated as we speak. My question is: when has this ever NEEDED to be an issue? I actually know you few transgender people and they could care less about this. I believe ever since Caitlyn Jenner's became a trending topic, all of the sudden this bathroom issue became something. At the end of the day I think it is once again a distraction from the more important issues going on in the world.

We donĀ“t stare so much at whoever comes to a public bathroom when we are there.

Exactly. In my opinion most people don't. This should be a non-issue.

@mywest Many small things become scapegoats when there are more important issues and the government wants the eyes of the population diverted from that.

I cannot even believe it became a big issue. There are so many dilemmas that need to focus on in this world.

I think that you have a good point. I feel that some trans people would care about this more than others depending on their personal experiences. But I believe that we all need to allow trans people to use the bathroom where they feel comfortable or to let them have the option to use the separate bathroom. We do need to focus on other important things going on in the world and to let this one go in terms of debating about it. Just let them live their lives with some peace, dignity, and respect.

I agree it is not the most important issue going on in America at this moment and sure there are more pressing matters to tend to. I believe they are putting in Gender Neutral restrooms in stores as we text.

What has made this a problem is all the people worrying about degenerates pretending to be women and going into the ladies' room to cause problems. And that's why I say they should tear down all the stalls and build separate rest rooms for everyone with no male or female labels at all. Everyone gets their own room and the degenerates end up alone, just as they should be anyway!
