At Herc, her pet sheep,
Her travel tales are simply grand.

He writes about food
And films he's enjoyed,
Convention he's always defied.

She always crusades for what's right,
For justice, the world she will fight,
Loves donkeys and kitties,
And also writes ditties,
She's caring and funny and bright.

This Irishman has a quick wit,
Amuses with what he has writ,
He chooses with care,
The words he will share,
And may make you laugh just a bit.
5.
She's German, and you will find
A keen and enquiring mind,
She used to teach school
Won't suffer a fool,
Can be blunt, but is really quite kind.

@Drosophila Funny you should say that - I'd been conversing with him for about a year under the illusion he was a woman, and then he said something about needing a shave! Then he showed me a picture of himself, just to make sure.

@annierose I have to be in the mood to do these, but when I come across something interesting about someone I make a note of it, and just wait till I feel like doing them. Then I may do several at once. Sometimes they just 'flow off the pen', other times I can't get it right. When that happens I leave it alone, and when I go back to it I may be able to finish it.
So there's no set time for each of them - some take 15 minutes, others take days. And some I abandon altogether, as they never come right.

! beautiful flower 'n i'm hear to tell ya that the begonia's here pale'n comparison by far...i know coz i went'n bought me some friday't the hubs request, 'long with many others, lol. yepperz, that'll teach'im!
i got 'em all this time,
ya truly delight with yer rhyme.

once recovered from hittin' the floor

'tis late 'n that's jest all i've got :)
i enjoy readin' that last'un's writin', but she's purty much told me not to respond :( she professes to not knowin' english well... my kinda english anyhow so i've abandoned such to relieve her pain.

@jaboUK indeed . i hope they do's well. i'll get'cha some pic's 'f the vast variety available'n these parts...'tis jest shameful! there's a threat'f a thunderboomer complete with large hail so i'm holdin' off'n get these potted'p. much easier to move'em to shelter if'n they're still'n those wee pots from the store.
