Would you be able to survive without a cellphone? You would still have all the other technologies and electricity and so on, but not your cellphone.
If you can't live without it, what is your reason for it? And also if you can live without it, how would you do it on a daily basis?

Yes, I can live without my cellphone. I just use it anyway as an alarm clock. I'll just buy an alarm clock instead.
My survival doesn't depend on it, hence I can live even without it.

@rina110383 Most days that's all I use my cellphone too. At most I probably make 2-3 calls per MONTH, and I hardly ever send a text message. I do receive a few important text messages though, mixed in with a lot of spam.

Piece of cake. I don't own a cell. I use a landline to handle the solicitors as that's about all that calls anyway.

@JohnRoberts I'm impressed. I'm far most used to hearing people saying that they don't have a landline. That's something I'd hate to live without.

I bought a cheap mobile for call and texting use only. So my smartphone and other gadgets are all for my online activities/business.. I dont know, since getting older I find it inconvenient to use touch screened phones for calling.lol.

@happytobehereagain I have cheap cellphones for calls and SMS too because the battery last longer than iOS and Android.

Most, if not all, of us grew up without a mobile phone. What difference will it make if these mobile phones suddenly disappear?

@bacon147 Not just some, but many. Reason? Because they have to be connected to the internet, they have to be up to date with what's happening with their friends and the person they are following on social media sites, something that can actually be done with a computer.

Exactly. It may come as a shock to some people but life will continue without a cell.

I cannot live without it. The reason being how else will my clients contact me. It is essential for my work. I may decide not to use it but I cant expect others would . It may not be nice if you excessively use it but ya If I do not use, it will most definitely affect my work.

I could definitely live without a cellphone. I hardly use mine and only carry it in case of emergency. The only difficulty would be coping with the places that expect people to provide them with a cellphone number and don't want to accept a landline number instead.

That is a good question. I got my cell phones late in life. I have my Smartphone to save on my phone bill so only hear messages from my landline and make calls on my smartphone. If bills were not so expensive here I could live without it, but, since they are it saves me on paying a lot.
