Proponents of green tea note that its medicinal benefits have been described for over 1000 years. The Kissa Yojoki, or Book of Tea, written by Zen priest Eisai in 1191, describes how drinking green tea can have a positive effect on the five vital organs, especially the heart. The book discusses tea's medicinal qualities which include easing the effects of alcohol, acting as a stimulant, curing blotchiness, quenching thirst, eliminating indigestion, curing beriberi disease, preventing fatigue, and improving urinary and brain function. Part One also explains the shapes of tea plants, tea flowers and tea leaves and covers how to grow tea plants and process tea leaves. In Part Two, the book discusses the specific dosage and method required for individual physical ailments...

ok neha i'm from tea capital of the world...that is guwahati,assam...the best tea producing land of the world....green tea is herbinger of life so to say.It evens cure malaria...the dreded disease which kills many life in 3rd world countries.......i likes green tea very much and always i've those in my house.if you want some best quality tea than i can share some of its.++

In our state a community called SINGPHOU whose ancestors are burmese origin usually produced world famous green tea,which is very popular in the european and american states...and they cultivate it without any chemical fertilisers and pesticides.I like it very much.U r also very cute buddy.

i even heard that it helps in slimming.i don't know but i would like to try it out.does it taste similar to the tea or it is different??

Grren Tea has long been a very beneficial herb for health . In india tea is a imp beverage . Tea also helps in quenching thirst , acts as a stimulator , a refesher also it improves the overall health of a human being .

Well friend i am a tea drinker and drink around 5.30,6.30,8.30,11,3.30,and 6.30 and two are green tea i drink tata green tea.

Green Tea is better for the health and the taste is differnt from the packaged tea.In many of the five star hotels they only use green fresh tea and customer went there only for taste and it is good for health also.

well green tea is good for health,and it makes person feel fresh,even i take green tea daily,but from grean tea our weight also decreases because it happened to me,my cozins have also note this,because they are using green tea too,there for green tea should be taken once a day,!!
