Moving to Mom's

May 27, 2016 8:34pm CST
I am thinking about quitting my job and move to Mom's. I live alone in a city about 8 hours travel by Ferry and car or 40 minutes by air from my Mom's place. I don't know if this is a good idea and if it's good for me in the long run. What about you guys, if you are given the same situation like mine, what will you do? Does moving a good idea?

Don't take advantage of your mom. She raised you to be a man! A man knows how to take care of himself. You should be helping your momma. Not quitting a job and running back to your momma. Do my words sound harsh? I would tell my own sons the same thing. Of course, if you really need help, you probably know that your mother won't turn you away. Decide what's best for the both of you.

I have been helping mom all through these years. Since I started working in 1997, I always make sure that a big portion of my income goes to her. When I moved to Cebu in 2003, I always make sure to send $ to mom every month. Now that I am having a lot of difficulties and all this depression, I need an outlet to let go of everything I don't actually know if moving back to Mom's will help me get better. I can always think of something monetary when I am with her. Though it would be hard for me to land a job that pays good because of my age, I have the experience though to battle this things out. Me and my mom has always had an excellent relationships.

@cmoneyspinner Thanks for the kind words. I have been drinking a lot the past few days and I was off mylot. I just realized with the help of someone too far away that living is better.
