They gather.around, picked some flowers and make some flowery accessories.
Nephews and nieces came to attend their cousin's 8th birthday.
After their snacks, they saw santan flowers and did some cute accessories.
Nice to see them doing those stuff.as.what we used to do.

Yes, I made bracelets, rings, etc. We also sipped the nectar out of each floret. Those are the things we miss and we are glad when children today still do it.

No I haven't. At this age, I tend to pick a different kind of flower... tulips, blue tulips to be exact. Blue tulips from Japan. The kind that blooms once a year.

She looks pretty busy as ever.
I have those flowers and no we never used those flowers for making garlands. But here there is a community that puts flowers in their hair as a fashion statement

santan. those flowerettes have sweet nectar, and we make bracelets out of those by connecting them together through the stem of each flowerette

I missed santan flowers, we used to have those decades back. but after we learned that a criminal hid in our santan area, we decided to cut it down.
