bachelor of science in nursing is not my first choice, it was my parents choice. but i have learned to love this course and more interesting. unfortunately i haven't use my degree for work because me and my husband have a business and need to help him. but i am proud of myself even though i didn't work as a nurse but i can still use it with my family of what i have learned.and still worth it..

It would be nice if you can practice your profession in the hospital. I also in a medical field. But I had practiced it before. But then, I need to step up and find a better job that I could earn more. As you have said, I can still use it in people who needs help with the use of my profession.

@stephjoy I understand where it is coming from. Being a mother is also a tough job.

@enlightenedpsych2 I did such noble work. I had volunteered in Central Asia to train the medical practitioners to handle the outbreak. It is really a good deed and priceless.

Wonderful that you are happy you got that degree. Did you ever try to get a license? I have two degrees and one license and yes it was all worth it.

Well degree can help you to join some job or organisation... but it is your knowledge that help you to sustain that job... and you are using that knowledge anyhow now... so that is great... and nothing is worthless...

If you spent 2-4 years then yes it is worth it. However if you failed miserably in those years then it was a waste of time and effort.
