Our black Lab, Sophie loves to be vacumed, she gets so excited when she sees us take the vacumecleaner out. She's actually a pain till you vacuum her, she will keep bugging you and bugging you, till she gets her way.
Here she is, falling asleep as hubby vacumes her, which I wouldn't mind if he did it more often, because she sheds so much.
The things we do for the love of our pets.

I bought a special thing to brush her with, but hubby won't use it...maybe cause it's pink, lol.

the pup we've now'll not allow such, though prolly would if'n i worked with her a bit. too diff'cult to get off the ground once there, so i've not done such. the wee pups i'd fer many years loved to be vacuumed's well. yer correct, 'tis a blessin' coz those inside/outside pups sure do shed near constant.

I like to watch the dogs as my hubby vacumes, Angel Baby runs and hides and Sophie follows him around and is underfoot till she gets her way.

I have never tried vacuuming my dogs and I don't think that they would like it. I brush my bigger dog as she sheds so much. She will be needing a bath sometime this week and a really good brushing because of her heavy shedding at this time of year.

I had heard that you can vacuum your dogs, so one day when my hubby was vacuuming the carpet, just for fun he tried to see if it worked on Sophie and she loved it.

@lilnana1111 That's cute. It could be a massage for her. My dog is afraid of the vacuum. Whenever I am vacuuming the floor, she would stay a distant away and watch, making sure I don't get near her.

My husband wishes he could vac. our lab, it would make life easier - and less dog hair on everything.

@lilnana1111 My husband runs the vac daily - plus now with her in the pool that is better than a vac.! LOL

It does help, but we still find her hair all over, I think we'd have to do it everyday to keep it down.

This is our first dog that loves it, all the others usually ran from it, we found out by accident that she liked it.

@lilnana1111 I accidentally vacuumed a mouse. That didn't go well.

Never tried vacuuming our pitbulls. I hope they'll be like Sophie who falls asleep when vacuumed.

Sophie seems like a common name here. My cat's name is Sophie. I never vacuumed my dog but blow dried her.

No, I have never vacuumed our dogs. I have brushed them and washed them regularly, though.
