It is common to our society using right hand in our daily chores.
During child hood life, my siblings and other family member bullied me for being left- handed.
My mom and dad are both right handed. I discover that my great grandpa is left-handed.
Thanks to my teacher in science who taught us that this trait is genetic.
I used my left hand to write as well as hold and lift things.
The only thing that I can use my right hand is during playing guitar..
I'm so amazed about my classmate who can used both his right and left hand to write and draw.
It's an advantage for him during class, if his right hand is tired he shift his ball pen to left hand and continue jotting down our lesson.
I once also bullied by one of the hotel employee during our on-the-job-training: He saw me using spoon by my left hand during our lunch break. He said that "Left-handed are jinx to business, for sure the hotel management will not hire you".
A general manager who sat 2 chairs apart from me overheard our conversation. She look fiercely into employee's eye and said This hotel is successful... by the way I'm also a left-handed.
Then there's a huge silence inside the hotel cafeteria.
At the back of my mind I'm happy for the line she throws.
Until now, I experienced the reality of that line.
To give you update, I start learning to use my right hand especially during meal time, because here in UAE, it is prohibited to eat using left hand, it is considered unclean according to their rules of etiquette.

Indeed! But other parents like my aunt and my neighbors, when they found out that their child is a left - handed they tie the left hand and put the pen on the right hand during writing tutorial time. Whenever a child attempt to use a left hand when writing, the mother will punish her child by spanking. So Sad :-(

@valleyofberaca We have to overcome such prejudices through education.
I always give my frank views that birth inclination cannot be overcome - siva
