I will not complain

I will not complain about being tired. I did work in the garden for three hours, in the sun. I am sure @koopharper works harder I got rewarded. We dug potatoes. Just a few. We took them home to eat. I also have beets, turnips, spinach to get ready to eat or store. I ate a Yukon Gold potato that was so new and fresh the skin washed right off with the dirt as part of my evening meal. After eating, I mowed a little while. I have showered, and I am tired. I will not complain, I will go to bed. I hope you sleep well if it is evening, and if it is day I hope it is a good one..

Went to bed feeling that good kind of tired. Much prefer hard physical work to stress. Help from my three boys made it all possible. Knowing today's forecast had us pushing hard to get it all done. Farmers were doing the same with the hay. Whole gang has shifts at work today so hopefully we'll find a way to feel the same way when we go to bed tonight.

This community garden fills most of a city block, if you include fruit trees. I guess it was started with a grant six years ago. We have regular days when we work as a group. The most I have seen there at any one time has been seven people. We do have an occasional mom who will bring children along to learn about gardens and nature. We are all learning or re learning what we knew in the past. It is hard work.

@GardenGerty Sounds like a good program. Don't see a lot of that here.

I have been tired and sore all day and I am complaining. In suspect this will go on in to next week though because of the rummage sale and a lot of carrying and such.

Being physically active will help get you in shape for the Missions trip. I did not sleep as well as I thought I would.

We planted potatoes starting on March 17, and we have had warm weather up to the 80's off and on. The potatoes are blooming.

Complaining is so much a part of me. But its just the way my system clears out the toxins. It's safer to complain and be done with it. End of day I count my blessings and go to bed....to rise to another day of complaining and counting blessings Lovely you have veggies in your garden. I have tried to plant a few in mine too...waiting for the monsoons

I have a few things planted at home, but the big garden is one I share with several others. It is good exercise, good social and good food.

I had to plant more green and yellow beans today. Not sure why the first round didn't sprout. Put in tomatoes and the pumpkins. Can't wait to get zucchini and yellow squash.

Yukon golds are pretty good potatoes. I live in Idaho and our state motto is "Famous Potatoes". You've been busy girl.

Yea if we keep on complaining, there'll be no changes to ourselves or to our community,
