Then..... When it rains heavy and you decide to sip a cup of hot coffee sitting on the porch, your eyes fall on that old album and you pick it up. Flipping through the old photos you find people you haven't met, moments of childhood you wished so much you could live through again, that lovely holiday with the girl gang, your cousins wedding where you looked so young and had loads of fun and so many memories move right in front of you. The rain still pours and you stare into it. You hold in your hands and squeeze your precious memories and decide you are gonna make more such wonderful pictures...... Now.... The rain hit the window pane, you still have that coffee cup but when you really feel the need to 'browse' through your memories you need to switch on your PC ( Unless its already on considering you're active on mylot!). You have to go to those zillion folders, hopefully named yearwise, to pick out a few genuinely good snaps out of the many selfies and groupies in all poses possible. And if you want the recent unbacked-up stuff just browse your smartphone and you are stupidly happy with the fifty something clicks you clicked in ten minutes when you did your groceries!!! See the difference. I fall into both categories because I belong to that lot who has their foot at both ends. To tell you the truth I prefer the first option to the second. Do you make albums of the snaps you click on your camera or phone ???? or you just transfer it to some memory device not to be touched until its full and you have more snaps to delete and fill???
