Got to get.dirty to clean.
It rained hard, checked the canal, water seems to be above my knees, got worried.
Went outside to see what might be wrong, and i saw garbage.
Pile of grasses, and plastic bottles and a couple.of.kiddie "stuff", are clogging the canal.and no one dared to remove.them.
Now i know why the water on the canal beside our house is high.
Have to removed them before water gets.higher.
While removing them, it was then few noticed the garbage like it just suddenly appeared there.
Did they.bother to help.me?
No. They just watch me do it, picking up those garbage, despite that "ouch" after accidentaly picked that thorny plant.
Did.someone ever.lend.a hand?
Yes, someone who just saw.me when he passed by.and get a shovel to help me.removed those garbage.
Thank Heavens for him. Bless.his kind and helpful heart.
Do you have to wait for things.to become worse or worst before acting?
Me, no. I can't.

No... I also did the clearing of garbage yesterday. There were lots of maggots and lots of flies... I had to put plastic on my hands because I have an open wound and I am afraid that my wound might have maggots. Eeeewe!

@Lucky15 yup.. it's so yucky... if I don't get rid of the garbage, the flies will multiply further. Actually there are a lot now. Glad the garbage was already picked up this morning.

given my situation, i cant do a thing like that anymore.
my nephew likes to play with everything he could get his hands on and create a big mess all over so before he executes his plan, i call the nanny's attention to grab whatever he's holding.
is that considered?

Good thing there is no drainage in our neighborhood but we have to near with the noisy cocks. our neighbor made the empty lot for raising his cocks.

I don't like when people are lazy like that. They don't bother to help and just watch you work hard. I'm glad that guy stopped to help you. :-)

I'm glad someone had come to his senses and lend you a hand. Neighbours are only good at gossips.

Ha, a common sight here. No one cares. They all are willing to suffer or even blame others for their faults but not many have the heart to take charge and clear up the things on their own. Have been in situations where I tried getting some people together to get the water logging removed and cleared during the floods of 1999, but they did not seem to be genuinely interested.
Good that you take up things and initiate them. And that is why you found some good soul around to help you with your task.

It's crazy to think these people wouldn't make sure the garbage was removed before the rain so it wouldn't cause flooding

Good thing you're able to see the clogging or else your house will be reached with water. By the way, your place seems familiar.
