Is it Something in the Water?

What in the world is going on in Orlando, Florida? First, a 27 year-old man carries out a planned attack on young Christina Grimmie, shooting her to death before killing himself. Then, last night, there is another shooting at the Olrando nightclub, Pulse.
This second shooting resulted in multiple injuries and the bomb squad was even called in.
What is going on down there in Orlando?
Is it something in the water?
Or is it something in the music?
Were these random, unconnected acts?
Or is there some kind of nefarious conspiracy to terrorize the city underway?

This is a very sad world we live in. The end of times are very near, people should start getting on their knees and praying. I will be praying for the families of the loved ones lost.

This morning, I got a text from someone worried about people who went to the nightclub. They begged to know if they were okay. I usually don't answer texts that end up on my number by mistake, but texted them back to say they had a wrong number. I knew they were worried, there were two from the same number.

@DWDavis Oh yeah! Orlando is "The Theme Park Capital of the world", isn't it? A kind of a back bone of Florida's tourism industry.

There are crazies all over, nothing to do with the water, the sunshine, darkness...press conference a while ago - said no connection between the two incidents. It may turn out to be terrorism and not domestic kinds.

@DWDavis It was and still is a gay nightclub. Maybe a lover who got dumped...there are a million 'what if's'.

World wide there has been a devaluation of life, a loss of respect for the lives of others, and a growing feeling among the disaffected and disenfranchised that violence is somehow the way to right the wrongs done them, real or imagined. Here in the US our politicians and candidates are making the situation worse by pitting the poor against the working class and the working class against the rich, or, by pitting the different races and ethnic groups against each other.

@pgntwo If we could do away with professional politicians and establish a citizen government where people from ordinary life would take turns in the legislature, like jury duty, instead of being elected I think things would improve dramatically.

You can blame the New world order (Obama, and other Nato countries) desire to "intermingle countries like the US or Europe" to have a population of every corner of the world, whether or not they have the same values.
Each of us have a different value system that can prevent us from assimilating no matter how long we stay in a particular country.

I think it's not a terrorism, or the music, it must something happen to the person itself ... but the two bad situation meet on the same place, that makes it sound worst, deep condolences

After writing (on another site) about the shooting that took the life of Christina Grimmie, the news of what happened at 'Pulse' hit. It was just too much to write more about the terrible things happening-

I think people are just losing patience. Stress of lives make them aggressive when they can't handle it. Road rage is an example of that.
This may be the reason people are turning violent these days.

I think you are right, and I think our political leaders are contributing to that, especially here in the US. Both major parties are trying to turn people against each other. The Democrats are turning people against anyone who has more money than them and the Republicans are turning people against anyone who is different from them.

There is surely something in the water as elections are hot this time.

I think it is all random. Honestly there are more people living there, and therefore more crime. There may also be more good things that we do not hear about, cause if it is not sensational, it does not make the news. Not to make light of either notorious crimes.

I think shooting deaths are really escalating all over the country @DWDavis . I think it's the water and the food. Everybody's brain cells are being shorted out.
