On the Home Front

There are a lot of things we want or need to get done here before leaving on vacation. We just took all the recycling away. I will make sure all compost is out of the house. Hubby is going to wash out the trailer and truck bed from things that have been there a while and made the ants want to come. Lawn care, laundry and packing are all on the list as well. This is not our usual Sunday but it will need to be done. I am beginning to be excited about going on vacation next week.

I often build mountains out of mole hills. Many things can wait til we are back if I do not get them done. Hubby was needing to deal with truck and trailer because we have some items to take to my daughter.

I want all dishes done and put up when I leave, and clean bathrooms, I hate coming home to not clean stuff.

Now we have the bus clean again after driving it through mud we're doing small maintenance jobs too before we go to another ride next weekend. It will only be an hours journey on sealed roads so won't be nearly as much fun!

There is a lot to do before going on vacation like packing, deciding what to put in the vehicle and what to leave home. How about mail delivery and paper delivery do you have that taken care of?
