Are Handicapped Folks Spoiled?

Today I saw 12 handicap parking spaces at Home Depot for all those do-it-yourselfers that cannot walk.
Why do they get all the best parking spots? Their arms need exercise just like everyone else needs exercise. Plus, a little aggravation should be shared by all. I think those handicapped folks are spoiled rotten. This is blatant discrimination toward the walking people. I'll put the system on trial!
Footnote: I am going straight to hell, aren't I...

You might not be going straight to hell, but when you get to heaven you will have to park way out in the farthest part of the lot. Not all handicapped parking is used by people in wheelchairs. I have osteoarthritis in my neck, hands, hips, and knees and walk with a cane. I have a handicapped parking placard as it is difficult for me to walk great distances. Yet I still shop at Lowes Hardware, and other stores, and I greatly appreciate the parking spaces reserved for those of us with mobility issues. Prior to the onset of this disease, I used to park far from the front door of stores in order to leave those closer spots for people who needed them but weren't necessarily handicapped. I never resented the spaces reserved for the handicapped.

I'm glad you realized my odd sense of humor. Most would say that they feel badly for you, but I would not let you down in that way. I'll just say that I understand your plight. I wish you well and thank you for tolerating my insensitivity. No one is safe from my wit, lol.

Yes you are, lol. On a serious note though, I have a handicap placard, but I only use it when I am really hurting. Otherwise we just use a regular parking spot as close to the entrance as we can. But I have seen many that park in them and don't even have a placard.

What is very sad is that people that are not handicapped part in these spots. it is very hard for the handicapped and they deserve to have spots right in the front and not have people part in those spots.
