Coffee gives dark circles?

Hey i just heard from one of my friends that drinking too much coffee gives dark circles. Is it true? I genuinely drink too much coffee and if it is so then i think i need to stop it !

Yes it does when you drink coffee and not get enough sleep at night. Plus coffee is diuretic which means you have to go the toilet often and get the water out of your body which means it could dry up your skin causing dark circle under your eyes.

@Pass12 dark under eye circle is also a sign of ageing.

I don't think drinking too much coffee will give you dark circles. You probably get the dark circles from lack of sleep due to too much coffee drinking!

I had dark circle under my eyes long before I ever had a cup of coffee so I don't believe that.

@Pass12 I used to use a concealer when I was younger. I don't really know if that helped. I decided to just live with it!

I dont think so. If you sleep late, surely you will have those dark circles

EXCESS of anything becomes poisons and will affect the body. Hence you should try to avoid having more coffee.

I haven't heard about this before. It is more like a rumor for me. Foreigners drink more coffee than us. But I can't see many of them have dark circles.

Do you ever heard drinking too much black coffee can change your skin to black. Drinking white plain water make us white too. Truth shall be distinguish by errors

It could in an indirect way. Some people cannot sleep well if they have too many cups of coffee. That could lead to black circles.. People who work for long hours on the computer and drink loads of coffee could end up with dark circles too.
